Nutrient Management Planning

As a certified nutrient management planner, I can write NMPs required for permits for dairy and swine operations or provide basic planning services for poultry operations.

Sample Collection

I can collect soil and manure samples as required by permit and submit to the University of Georgia Labs for analysis.

Equipment Calibration

It is extremely important to calibrate your equipment annually to ensure you are applying proper application rates according to your NMP. I can calibrate center pivots, cable tow liquid applicators, big gun hared hose traveling guns, and solid manure spreaders.

Pre-Inspection Audits

Want to know your operation is ready for inspection by the Georgia Department of Agriculture?  I am happy to come look at your records, land application fields, manure storage structures, and mortality management to make sure everything looks as it should.

Groundwater monitoring wells

Farms with over 1000 animal units are required to take ground monitoring well samples,  I can collect those for you and deliver straight to the lab for analysis.

Record Keeping

When it comes to inspections well organized good quality records are key to keep your inspection quick and simple.  I can collect all of the required information needed for your inspection, calculate manure nutrient application and organize everything to make your inspection go seamlessly.

Group Training

Needing CEU hours?  I can meet with groups of people and provide training on different topics dealing with manure issues.  I also offer training to cattlemen groups, poultry groups, and equestrian groups.
